A Right To Communicate
Equal Voices Arts teamed up with Communication Friends Group in Dumfries, Scotland to create this film about communication. It looks at the different ways young people who use ACC (augmentative and alternative communication).
The film received over 1000 views during its first week on you tube, and was found to raise awareness of ACC use in a report by Helen Fletcher from NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The film was found not only to raise awareness, but also to empower people who use ACC, and also worked to proactively reduce discrimination.
